The Financial Aid Secretary/Receptionist answers incoming calls to the Financial Aid Office and assists students and visitors with questions about applying for financial aid. The Financial Aid Secretary/Receptionist handles all incoming mail.
Requirements
This position requires 60 college credit hours or four (4) years of equivalent and comparable full time work experience. This position requires six (6) months of full time work experience in a financial aid office, admission/registrar's office, or business office in a college or university or seven (7) months of full time work experience in an accounting/bookkeeping office or attorney/legal office, or insurance office. Accounting, bookkeeping, and good math skills are required. This position requires excellent clerical and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, document imaging and excellent written, oral communication, telephone skills, and a demonstrated ability to work well with others as part of a team. This position requires the capacity to work well within stressful situations, the ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions, strong organizational skills, an initiative towards completion of assignments, and excellent follow through skills on all assignments and projects.
