The Adams County Public Defender’s Office in Hastings, Nebraska has an opening for a full-time Assistant Public Defender. All applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the NSBA. We seek candidates who would enjoy working as a team while we restructure our office. The position is open immediately. Areas of practice include criminal, child support, mental health commitments and juvenile matters representing both parents and juvenile offenders. The position pays $60,000 to $80,000 per year depending upon experience. A generous benefit package is included with this position.
