Description   OPEN UNTIL FILLED APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS IMMEDIATELY Plans, organizes and directs the operations and activities of the Environmental Management Department under the direction of the Director of Environmental Management; performs directly related work as required. The principal function of an employee in this class is to direct and oversee the functions of the Environmental Management Department. Currently the work is performed under the direction of the County Attorney and in the future work will be performed under a Deputy County Administrator, or other official as designated by the County Administrator, however, extensive leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
