The primary objective of this position is for the incumbent to work closely with the Senior Director of Gift Planning & Principal Gift Officer to engage friends and alumni throughout all areas of the University who are above-average gift planning prospects and effectively cultivate them so that through successful solicitations, they become donors who make commitments to the University. Thereafter, these donors must be effectively stewarded to sustain their support for the University. The incumbent is also charged with (a) ensuring that the Office of Gift Planning complies with state financial reporting requirements, and (b) working with the Director of Gift Planning to develop marketing materials and strategies which educate , engage and steward prospective and current donors.
