The patient safety/risk manager is responsible for maintaining clear communication between the facility and the VISN, and to communicate relevant patient safety and risk information and promote organizational learning and directly supports facility leadership in areas of planning, organization, development, direction, and evaluation of the patient safety and risk programs within the facility. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the ap
