Job Duties: The Senior Police Supervisor (Lieutenant) position is professional work requiring the supervision of sworn police officers, sworn police supervisors (Sergeants), and non-sworn employees engaged in enforcing the laws of the State of North Carolina and the United States Government at East Carolina University and/or providing other relevant, essential services to the community. Senior Police Supervisors are assigned to serve as lieutenants in the areas of Patrol, Investigations, Professional Standards, or Emergency Management/Special Event/Accreditation, and are responsible for assigning, managing, and reviewing the work of the assigned staff within those units. The sworn staff supervised by the Senior Police Supervisor has full law enforcement authority r
