The Paralegal plays a vital role in providing guidance and assistance to voting/consulting staff, allied health staff, attorneys, paraprofessionals and other parties, both internally and externally, in responding to and resolving legal matters affecting Mayo Clinic.  The Paralegal position requires effective management of a large and diversified workload, strong decision-making capabilities, a high level of independent judgment, and a profound understanding of the organization and its business needs. Under general direction, the Paralegal completes work at an advanced level, with limited attorney revision. Subject matter areas of support include business transactions, employment law, and health law.    Specific duties may vary based on departmental and organizational needs
