This position will be responsible for researching legal and regulatory issues and draft responses to written requests for interpretation of regulations. The selected candidate will prepare proposals for re-adoption of all licensing rules at least 18 months prior to their expiration dates in order to prevent expiration dates and in order to prevent expiration of rules; draft rule proposals in response to new laws that require DOH to promulgate rules to effectuate the purposes of the laws; and process healthcare facility licensure, waiver and certificate of need applications.
