Position Information Under the supervision of the Director of Contracts, the Senior Contract Analyst assists in the management, review, and drafting of both standardized, template-based contracts and external complex contracts for the School of Medicine (SOM). Ensures that contracts are routed appropriately per Department policies, that approvals are obtained, that supporting documentation is in order, investigates discrepancies, and formats agreements consistent with policy. Works within the contract management application system and ensures timely and efficient administration. Detail-oriented and organized. Independently provides advice/guidance to various stakeholders, staff, and affiliates, and works closely with health sciences attorney, as necessary. Leads in resolving contract-related operational issues and will maintain ongoing external and internal relationships. Additionally, develops and provides training to other departments when necessary.
The salary range for the Senior Contract Analyst is $71,100 - $90,000 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $85,000 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of specific contracting assignments.
