Job Summary
The Harvard Law School LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic (the Basic Qualifications Candidates must have earned a J.D. at least 3 years ago, have at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be admitted to the Massachusetts bar or eligible for temporary admission pursuant to Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:04. Additional Qualifications and Skills We are looking for people who have: Five or more years of legal experience, including managing other attorneys, and interest in cultivating litigation and advocacy docket, a plus Significant litigation experience, including in federal court an asset Experience with constitutional issues, legislative advocacy, and community outreach an asset Familiarity with LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, and other civil liberties issues a plus Applicants should be self-starters, be diligent, and have the proven ability to work with a wide range of people and to perform under pressure Commitment to the mission of the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic Commitment to diversity within the office and a record of valuing all individuals and respecting differences with regards to race, ethnicity, age, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, disability and socio-economic circumstances Commitment to working collaboratively and respectfully toward resolving obstacles and/or conflicts Additional Information Benefits Work Format
