The City of Redding is hiring an Assistant City Attorney to provide support and legal guidance to the Redding City Council and City Leadership Teams, as well as prepare ordinances and resolutions, review City contracts, and represent the City during labor grievances, among other duties, as part of the City Attorney’s Office. The ideal candidate must be familiar with municipal government structure and operations, be skilled in understanding and interpreting state and federal laws, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
