The City of Wichita Law Department is seeking an attorney with five-plus years of experience in airport law, construction law, and negotiating and drafting complex contracts for a wide variety of purposes. Position serves as sole counsel to a small-hub commercial service airport and reliever airport. Position is also responsible for providing enterprise risk awareness to stakeholders, advising on enforcement of contract performance and building dispute resolution for agreements covering the entire scope of municipal activities. Applicant should have experience using alternative construction project delivery methods and applying federal procurement requirements when appropriate. Applicant should possess sound judgment, an ability to prioritize and be capable of working successfully in a
