The UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications to develop and direct a new clinic in First Amendment law. The clinic, supported by a generous grant from the Stanton Foundation, will focus on rights of speech, press, and assembly, and involve direct representation of parties in litigation.

Responsibilities will include developing the clinic, managing a client caseload, supervising a resident Fellow and the client work of third-year law students, and developing and delivering relevant course instruction.

This is a full-time position and includes a three-year appointment as a Lecturer. The continuation of the appointment after that time will depend on the candidate's success and continued funding. To ensure the clinic is able to be offered in the fall semester of 2023, the director should be available to start as early in 2023 as possible, but in no event later than June 5, 2023. Salary is commensurate with experience.
