The City Law Department for Lincoln, NE, has an opening for an entry level attorney in our Prosecution Division. This position handles a high volume of criminal cases in Lancaster County Court with an opportunity to actively engage in case management at all levels and strengthen courtroom skills by appearing in court daily and communicating with law enforcement, defendants, attorneys, and court personnel on a variety of city ordinance issues. This position will join a team of experienced prosecutors gaining exposure to all aspects of municipal prosecution including code enforcement, legislation, and appeals. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited College of Law.
Necessary Special Requirement: Membership in the State of Nebraska Bar Association with eligibility to practice law in the State of Nebraska prior to appointment.
