Working/Functional Title Patent Assistant Position Summary Basic Function: Reviews, records, and maintains records in conjunction with the MSUT Patent Administrator relating to intellectual property protection for technologies being pursued by MSU Technologies (MSUT) at Michigan State University.  This position functions as the patent assistant, interfacing with the MSUT Patent Administrator as needed.  Primarily responsible for maintaining Federal Bayh-Dole compliance reporting with iEdison; inputting and processing of legal expenses associated with patent prosecution files; managing data and records input/output between MSU’s specialized IP database (Minuet) and CPi (Computer Packages Inc.) patent docketing system; and processing new invention disclosur
