This position reports to the Division of Public Health (DPH) Director of Regulatory and Legal Affairs and will be part of the leadership team in the DPH Office of Regulatory and Legal Affairs (RLA) with a supervisory role. This position is a subject matter expert on all program areas related to public health law, administrative rulemaking, human subjects research law, IRB administration, and state and federal information privacy requirements. This position represents RLA in meetings and presents at educational events and conferences in furtherance of the public health mission. This position consults on regulatory and legal issues, including division-wide and state-wide application and enforcement of public health statutes and rules.
