- JD or LLM required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of legal or related work experience and knowledge of the legal profession and experience mentoring and advising law students or attorneys in a professional services firm is required.
- Specific knowledge of taxation and financial services law practice is highly desirable.
- A demonstrated ability to relate well to foreign students (non-native English speakers) from a variety of countries and backgrounds is essential.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required as is an ability to work well in team settings.
- Must be able to maintain confidential information and communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- A commitment to providing high quality, responsive student service is essential.
This role requires significant in-person advising but may allow for one day of remote work during the academic year with increased flexibility during the summer months.
