We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist. The Specialist role will assist Commercial Loan Officers and Commercial Lending Operational staff with a variety of administrative, customer service and loan servicing functions.

• Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Bank’s ongoing mission, vision and core values. 
• Compares approval documents and commitment letters to Core system setup, to ensure accuracy .
• Assists in problem solving any issues within the Commercial Lending Department with the guidance and assistance of the Senior Commercial Lending staff. 
• Assists and provides back-up support to commercial operations staff, including processing, closing, and booking various types of installment loans, lines of credit, and payoffs.
• Performs general administrative and clerical support tasks including, but not limited to, filing, photocopying, scanning, and assembling credit and legal files. 
• Assists with monitoring and supervising the Financial Statement tracking database and assist with credit file maintenance and overall commercial loan quality control. 
• Disburses funds and maintains records for commercial construction loans.
• Processes  complex payments, advances, pay-downs, wires and line of credit.   
•  Prepares Collateral discharges. 
•  Coordinates annual financial statement collection via periodic mailings. 
•  Monitors flood insurance and tax activities and related documentation. 
•  Performs credit file maintenance and overall commercial quality control duties. 
•  Reviews closed loan files for quality control purposes
•  Works closely with auditors and regulators preparing and presenting documents as requested. 
•  Functions as one of the Bank Notaries.
•  Functions as back-up to the Commercial Loan Processer/Closer (s) during times of absence or as requested.  

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent in addition to a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a commercial lending related function (i.e. banking/financial services, attorney or real estate broker). 
• Detail orientation, ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints, ability to learn basics of the Bank’s products and services including loan products, self-motivation and decision making skills required.
• Working knowledge of general banking and lending concepts and principals in addition to experience with and understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Professional demeanor and professional maturity required for working closely with customers, employees, vendors and members of the Board of Directors.
