Join the team at Holland & Hart! We are the largest AmLaw 200 firm in the Mountain West known for our pioneering, innovative spirit and team-based, collaborative environment. Our attorneys experience a sophisticated practice common to larger firms, while enjoying the benefits of living in one of Holland & Hart’s desirable geographical locations. We frequently hire lawyers who want to relocate from firms in large, bi-coastal cities to vibrant communities where you can take advantage of city life, serve clients on challenging work, and enjoy Mountain West vistas and recreational options at your doorstep.
Intellectual Property Associate; Trademark practice (2+ years) – Boulder or Salt Lake City
Holland & Hart’s trademark group (Colorado’s only “Gold Band” ranked practice by World Trademark Review) is seeking an associate with at least two years of trademark experience to join our trademark prosecution team in our Boulder, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah offices. Other Holland & Hart office locations will be considered on a case by case basis.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates should have experience with trademark searching, search review, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution. While the primary focus of this position will be non-contentious work, experience in trademark enforcement, online enforcement, including drafting demand letters, notice and take-down requests, online marketplace monitoring, TTAB proceedings, and UDRP proceedings is a plus. Candidates must also demonstrate superior writing and communication skills. Foreign language skills are not required but highly valued.
Candidates should appreciate a fast-paced and team-centric environment that encourages collaboration and disfavors hierarchical practices. We welcome candidates who will (quietly or boldly – all Myer’s Briggs personalities welcome) remain themselves and contribute to elevating our client service standards. We are committed to efficiently delivering practical, pithy, and business-oriented client service to domestic and international clientele (ranging from start-up ventures to publicly traded companies) while thriving in a college town at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
