Supplemental Forensic Registered Nurse III - Forensic Program - Ben Taub Hospital
JOB SUMMARY: Provides nursing care to individuals who present to the Harris County Hospital District for treatment, evidence collection and injury documentation. Completes and documents physical, social and safety assessments on each patient. Interacts in a professional manner with the patient, family and members of the multidisciplinary team. Participates in education and implementing prevention strategies within the community. Testify in courts of law as an expert witness. Is available to respond to locations within the Harris County Hospital District to care for victims and/or perpetrators of trauma, assault or abuse. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
