Look after legal and compliance aspects of the Group's business, covering capital markets, banking and/or trust businesses, and deal with legal issues in connection therewith
Draft, review, revise and negotiate on legal documents
Ensure the business practices and transactions are within the framework of the law at all times
Communicate with and handle questions from regulators which are relevant to the Group's businesses
Respond to complaints on and investigate alleged violations of rules, policies and procedures by evaluating or recommending sensible solutions
Develop and oversee standard of conduct in daily operations

Requirements:
A qualified US attorney with 5 to 8 yearspractical experience in the financial services industry and/or capital market industry
Degree holder of LLB, LLM or JD
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex issues
Ability to give practical, well-reasoned and well-researched written legal advice
Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
Proven legal counseling experience in a business environment
