L&C Private Equity /Capital Markets/ M&A Transactions Group Attorney We are searching for an experienced private equity/capital markets/M&A transactional lawyer who will handle a wide range of private equity, venture capital and other capital markets transactions across North America. The successful candidate will be a motivated commercial lawyer and will have detailed legal knowledge of private equity investments, preferred stock, M&A, joint ventures, securities laws and corporate finance and be able to translate this knowledge into actionable advice and into the management of effective legal processes. Whilst working as part of the BlackRock legal department, the successful candidate will partner with portfolio managers, tax, operations, product lawyers, compliance team and external lawyers and will be responsible for advising on as well as negotiating complex legal transactions in connection with investments made on behalf of BlackRock clients and funds.
