Judicial Education Assistant

The Law & Economics Center at the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School invites applications for a Judicial Education Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the LEC’s Judicial Education Programs. About the Center

The Law & Economics Center of the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is a national center for research and education that focuses on the timely and relevant economic analysis of legal and public policy issues. To fulfill its education mission, the LEC provides dynamic training programs in law and economics to sophisticated domestic and international audiences including judges, academics, lawyers, government authorities and staff members, and state attorneys general and their senior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Database development and management;
• Event marketing and recruiting;
• Program coordination and management;
• Management of event timelines and task lists;
• Providing customer service for program participants and speakers;
• Preparation of event materials;
• On-site program management;
• Processing of event expenses and reimbursement;
• Administrative support for program director.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Event management experience;
• Public Policy or legal environment experience.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.

Location: Arlington, VA
