American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers Association is seeking an attorney. AFPM represents virtually the entire U.S. refining and petrochemical manufacturing capacity. The legal department is responsible for AFPM’s litigation docket, providing support to its advocacy and communications initiatives, and ensuring compliance. The successful candidate will draft and provide substantive input on legal briefs, review contracts that support AFPM’s advocacy, meetings, and communications, ensure compliance with antitrust laws, federal and state election laws, and copyright compliance. The successful candidate also will have expertise or an interest in developing expertise in environmental, energy, and health and safety regulations. This position reports to the General Counsel. AFPM provides an attractive compensation and benefits program.
