West Capital Management is currently seeking a Wealth Planner to work directly with current and prospective clients. The individual must demonstrate wealth planning expertise in one or more areas of estate planning, income tax planning, asset protection techniques, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, and income tax efficiency. The Wealth Planner will have the ability to grow through exposure to high net worth clients with sophisticated planning needs. Anticipated growth will be in the areas of client facing meetings, ability to analyze and design sophisticated plans, and participating in public speaking engagements. In addition, the position is expected to grow with the direction of the organization.
Participate with prospects and clients to discuss various wealth planning topics
Identify issues and design and implement strategies to address income tax, estate planning, retirement, assets protection, and other planning needs for affluent and high net worth clients
Work directly with the clients outside advisors, such as attorneys, CPAs, and insurance brokers in order to implement wealth planning strategies
Oversee and participate in aspects of cashiering, account opening, titling of assets and beneficiary designations for accuracy, tax efficiency, and to proactively planning issues on behalf of clients
Conduct research on client specific solutions and prepare a memorandum for the client outlining the issue and potential solutions
Identify client specific planning issues in the areas of income tax, estate planning, retirement planning, liability exposure, and other planning areas
Serve on the planning committee in order to improve the firm’s planning process and to expand the firm’s competency on various planning topics
Preferred CPA or near completion of CPA Designation; or preferred completed or near completion Licensing (Series 7, 65, 66); or preferred completed or near completion CFP Designation
Experience in a financial services or brokerage environment
