This position will report to a Lead Client Advisor within CooksonPeirce. You will work directly with the Lead Advisor and your responsibilities will include:
Client Advice: You will work closely with the Lead Client Advisor to provide a high level of personalized wealth management service to the firm's private clients. On a daily basis, this will include taking primary responsibility for ongoing account maintenance matters and promptly responding to client inquiries and requests for account information and service.
Client Reviews and Retention: You will be responsible for working with the Lead Client Advisor to schedule and prepare all materials needed for quarterly client investment reviews and for managing the client review process in the firm's Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce). Through this process, you will help to identify and follow through on important client-specific needs to enable the firm to maintain its high level of client retention and growth.
Financial Planning: You will work closely with the Lead Client Advisor to develop comprehensive financial plans using the firm's interactive planning software (MoneyGuidePro). You and the Lead Client Advisor will gather and process all data necessary to analyze diverse financial planning matters including retirement needs analysis, debt management, education funding and other client-specific financial goals.
Technology: Our client service model is supported by software programs integrated for the management of calendars, client information, activities, correspondence, investment accounts and financial plans. You will be responsible for the input and ongoing maintenance of information in these systems.
Coordination of Professional Services: As part of the client's financial team, you and the Lead Client Advisor will work proactively with the client's outside professionals, including their accountant, attorney, banker, and insurance provider to ensure that the client is benefiting from the coordination of all professional services.
Personal Production and Growth: As you service and assist in growing the firm's book of business, you will be encouraged to use the skills that you develop in concert with your knowledge of our investment process to expand existing and develop new advisory relationships. The Lead Client Advisor will support you in these efforts.
Interest in pursuing or candidate of relevant professional designation or advanced degree
5-10 years of experience in one or more private client disciplines (banking, investment, trust or financial planning)
Broad knowledge of wealth management and financial planning practices
Exceptional communication skills
Strong personal and entrepreneurial drive
Possession of a Series 65 License, knowledge of Salesforce and/or MoneyGuidePro are strongly preferred, but not explicitly required
Additional Salary Information: Variable bonuses that are unlimited
